East Savannah Community Transformation Plan

Healthy Savannah is leading an initiative to improve Health and Wellness in East Savannah based on a plan prepared in support of an application for housing tax credits in support of Live Oak Landing, a proposed affordable housing development for seniors, located on Wheaton Street in East Savannah.  The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) encourages affordable housing developers who are utilizing tax credits to further assist communities with addressing critical problems and challenges in the neighborhood around their development. Upon awarding of the tax credits, Live Oak Landing L.P. will then provide funding to assist with the implementation of the plan. The Senior Housing and CTP funding is dependent on the tax credit award by DCA, to be announced in Fall 2017.
