Healthy Savannah tackles summer COVID wave with awareness campaign

Healthy Savannah stopped by the WJCL 22 News studio to share their new COVID-19 awareness campaign.

According to the CDC, COVID cases are rising this summer in Georgia, with an increase in COVID test positivity. They report that in July, positive infections jumped from 3.7% to 4.8% in one week.

Healthy Savannah and the YMCA of Coastal Georgia are partnering to remind adults to stay alert during August, which is National Immunization Awareness Month.
