Healthy Savannah’s Faith and Health Coalition to Host 4th Annual Faith Walk at Lake Mayer on May 3rd

Healthy Savannah’s Faith and Health Coalition will host the 4th Annual Faith Walk, a free community event to celebrate health, wellness and springtime fun, on Sunday, May 3, at Lake Mayer Community Park. Everyone is encouraged to attend. The event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Mayer pavilions, located at 1850 E. Montgomery Cross Rd. Activities will include a variety of healthy resources, information from local organizations, and giveaways for adults.

“Healthy Savannah will be giving away free local produce supplied by Forsyth Farmers’ Market on a first come first serve basis,” said Ruby Castro, Nutrition Program manager. “More than 200 people attended last year’s event, and we expect many of them, along with new friends, to join us for a fun afternoon at this beautiful park our County has to offer.”
