Canyon Ranch Institute Healthy World Scholarship Awardees

Congratulations to a team of four incredible young women leaders, all of whom are long-time Healthy Savannah partners in being awarded a Canyon Ranch Institute Healthy World Scholarship experience to improve the health and well-being of children through healthy eating in their community over the next three years.  OThe team travels to Canyon Ranch in July to engage with other scholarship recipients to have some specialized coaching and mentoring time to support creating a youth-focused curriculum for Farm Truck 912 and Bring It Home! Team members include: Teri Schell, Farm Truck 912/Forsyth Farmers’ Market: Executive director, facilitator; Sandy Baker, COPE for Change (Childhood Obesity and Prevention Education); Chef Wendy Armstrong, Thrive Catering/St. Andrew’s School Chef; and Mahogany Bowers, Blessings in a Bookbag.
