Paula Kreissler Receives Lifetime Leadership Award from The Creative Exchange Network

The Creative Exchange Network has honored longtime public health leader Paula Kreissler with its Lifetime Leadership Award, recognizing her decades of work advancing health, equity, and community well-being in Savannah.

Kreissler retired this year after 17 years as Executive Director of Healthy Savannah, where she led a coalition of more than 200 partners and helped secure over $9 million in CDC REACH funding to reduce chronic disease and advance racial and ethnic health equity. Her leadership contributed to major policy achievements, including Savannah’s Complete Streets ordinance, the Truman Linear Park Trail, and the “Breathe Easy” smoke-free indoor air law.

“Paula Kreissler is a force for good… a bridge builder with a lifetime of service,” said Robert Gould, founder of the Creative Exchange Network.
