Savannah State University RISEUP Campaign teams up with Healthy Savannah to host a healthy walk on campus

Throughout its 132-year history, Savannah State University has faced challenges and overcame them by rising above with the support of those who truly believe in the university. This year Savannah State University is hosting a RISEUP Campaign.

Savannah State University is partnering with Healthy Savannah to host a healthy walk on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Tiger Arena parking lot.

The goal of the campaign is to build positive spirits within the students, staff and SSU’s greater community. By showing commitment to this positivity through school pride, social media and any other way, it is the hope of the campaign to enter into Homecoming with as much momentum as possible.
