Tropical Green Smoothie

Trying to eat more green vegetables? Try serving them multiple ways and throughout the day.

Prep time: 5 mins   Servings: 2


1 cup spinach or other greens

1 cup frozen pineapple (no added sugar)

1-2 Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

½ banana, sliced

1 Tbsp ground flaxseed

1 cup milk (2%)

2 teaspoons honey or agave, optional


1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Enjoy immediately. 

Tip: Flaxseed adds omega-3 fats, fiber and protein to your smoothie. It is important to ground the flaxseed for the full health benefits.
