The Savannah Business Group (SBG) will host the Impact Summit 2015 for Childhood Obesity in Chatham County to engage local stakeholders in the review and discussion of the impact of child wellness grant activities over the past five years.
Funded by the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH), United Health Foundation (UHF) and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), this grant has broadened the participation of parents, employers, and physicians in the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity in Savannah-Chatham County area.
We invite you and your colleagues to participate in the Impact Summit 2015 to identify and discuss strategies that will sustain child-wellness programs and services in Savannah and Chatham County, Georgia. We have planned a stimulating agenda that shares data, best practices, and lessons learned; highlights existing efforts of community partners; and fosters collaboration to sustain this important work of creating the conditions for healthy children and families in Savannah and Chatham County, Georgia.
