Roasted Broccoli

Preparing broccoli this way may enhance acceptance. Roasting carmelizes the natural sugars and brings out the flavor. Already tried broccoli? Try this with other cruciferous or root veggies.

Ingredients:1 large head of broccoli

4 tablespoons Olive Oil

¼ teaspoon salt

Pepper to taste

Parmesan cheese or lemon wedge, if desired


1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

2. Wash broccoli and chop into small florets.

3. Toss with oil, salt, and pepper and place on a large baking sheet.

4. Roast for about 10 minutes, until slightly browned.

5. Sprinkle with a bit of parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon, if desired.
