Truman Linear Park Trail project approved by Savannah City Council

Savannah’s City Council approved moving forward to build the Truman Linear Park Trail. This trail will be six miles long, connecting 52nd Street at Bee Road and ending at Derenne Avenue near Jenkins High School.

Many cities have urban trail networks. A popular example of this is Atlanta’s Beltline Trail. The trail connects neighborhoods and creates green spaces in an urban setting. On Thursday, Savannah City leaders took the step to see a similar network here.
